Attention Sponsors:
The sponsor meeting will be held at the Hilton (time and room TBD). This meeting will be brief but vitally important to everyone in attendance. One sponsor from each church, represented at the conference, should attend this meeting to get the latest information about the conference. Q&A will follow.

The following are a few suggestions to help make your trip to the Pennsylvania Christian Teen Convention more enjoyable and manageable:

1. Provide one adult sponsor for every three teens who attend.
2. A Christ-Like Character is expected at all times! This should include one’s behavior with Convention Personnel, Hotel and Convention Center Staff, and everyone else one encounters in the Harrisburg area.
3. We ask that there be no public displays of affection during the Convention, nor couples left alone in Hotel Rooms.
4. Radios, iPods (mp3 players), CD players, TV’s, etc. should not be brought in to Main Sessions, Concert, Workshops, etc.
5. Each teen should understand that they are under the supervision and direction of their sponsors and Convention personnel. We suggest that the sponsors for each room maintain the key cards for their rooms in their own possession rather than giving the cards to the young people.
6. Each teen and sponsor is expected to attend the sessions and workshops. Sponsors should exercise great care in allowing a teen to skip a session. No teen should be permitted to roam around at will. Please exercise the same control and courtesy demanded in the school system regarding individuals getting up and leaving in the middle of things. The sessions are and important part of the convention, so please encourage your young people to attend all the sessions!
7. All teens must observe the curfew stipulated in the schedule. This means everyone is in their own sleeping rooms with the doors closed and the phones unused.
8. No use of tobacco, alcohol, or nonprescription/non over-the-counter drugs will be permitted.
9. All sponsors are expected to enforce the boundaries. Teens should be in the appropriate location during sessions and/or workshops or in their own hotel room with a sponsor. Teens are to avoid lounging in the hallway and making a lot of noise. We would also ask that you not have large group gatherings in one of the hotel rooms as this tends to create a lot of noise.
10. The individuals and/or groups are responsible for any damage and/or complaints regarding their hotel room(s). The PCTC will not pay for damages or charges to your room(s).
11. The convention is a great place to witness to friends who aren’t Christians yet. Our prayer is that the convention gives you the opportunity to talk with your young people about Jesus Christ. Please make prayerful use of every opportunity to minister to your group and encourage them in their walk with God.
